But the nonprofit presidential inauguration committee paid her firm $26 million for event planning last January, news revealed by the Times two weeks ago that reportedly precipitated Winston Wolkoff’s firing (though she told the paper all “gratuitous volunteer contracts” were cut regardless of event payments).
